Troubleshooting the FileOpen Installation:

If you have installed the FileOpen client and are still having issues opening data room documents, please follow the steps below: |
Step 1: Uninstall all instances of the "FileOpen Client" from Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs |
Step 2: Download and run FileOpenUninstallTool.exe: FileOpenUninstallTool.exe |
Step 3: Restart Your Computer |
Step 4: Download and run FileOpenInstaller.exe: FileOpenInstaller.exe |
Step 5: Open Adobe Reader and/or Acrobat. Select Edit » Preferences. Click the Internet tab in the left column and then uncheck the Display in Read Mode by Default option. Click OK to save your changes. |
Step 6: Log into the data room and open a PDF document to ensure it opens successfully. If you are still experiencing issues, please email fileopen@datarooms.com for further assistance. |
