FileOpen for PC

Chrome Users. You need to force Chrome to open PDF documents in Adobe Reader/Acrobat and not inside the built in Chrome PDF viewer by doing the following:  Type chrome://settings/content into the URL bar and hit Enter key.  Scroll all the way down to the PDF Documents setting (its the last setting) and check the "Open PDF files in the default PDF viewer application" setting.  Click the Done button to save the setting. (view full instructions)
(* if this does not work please try the following for older versions of Chrome: Type about:plugins into the URL bar and hit the Enter key. Locate Chrome PDF Viewer and ensure that it is "Disabled.")
Firefox Users. Please disable the built-in Firefox PDF viewer by following the instructions located here and select either "Use Adobe Reader" or "Use Adobe Acrobat".
Adobe Reader/Acrobat Required. The FileOpen Viewer is designed for Adobe Reader/Acrobat 9.0+. Please make sure you have a qualified Adobe program installed before processing the FileOpen installation. Click here to download the free Adobe Reader product

Installation Option 1 (.exe, preferred) :

EXE Installer (32 & 64 bit): FileOpenInstaller.exe (click link to download)
(We recommend the .exe installer for normal interactive installations as it will install the correct version for your platform. After downloading the file, Windows Vista, 7 and 8 users should right-click the .exe file and select "Run as Administrator".)

Installation Option 2 (.msi) :

MSI Installer for 32 bit: FileOpenInstaller.msi (click link to download)
MSI Installer for 64 bit: FileOpenInstaller64.msi (click link to download)
(The .exe and .msi installers are equivalent. We provide .msi installers for network deployment by system administrators. )
